SCG Packaging, a leading Thailand packaging company, purchased a 100% stake in Peute, the Netherlands’ largest independent packaging materials recycling, and trading company. This deal brings SCGP an additional raw material source and contributes to its long-term strategy of enhamcing all levels of the packaging business.
New PET Bottle-To-Bottle Recycling Line
Akij Food and Beverage Ltd., a Bangladesh-based food manufacturer, is starting bottle-to-bottle recycling to meet environmental, as well as economic targets. And in order to do that, the Company installed the Starlinger recoSTAR PET 165 HC iV+. It converts PET flakes into food-contact rPET pellets and has a production capacity of up to 1,800 kg/h.
Certification Of Recycled ABS Grades
INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, has received the RecyClass certification for its mechanically recycled ECO grades (Terluran ECO MR, Novodur ECO MR). The Recycled Plastics Traceability certification confirms the post-consumer origin of the waste used in the production of the grades and contributes toward the traceability of recycled materials along the value chain.
