onTop cosmetics has launched its first product line with packaging made from Eastman Cristal™ Renew copolyester with 50% certified recycled content. Cristal™ Renew copolyester is a sustainable resin enabled by Eastman’s molecular recycling technologies. And this packaging was realized due to a close collaboration between WWP Beauty and molecular recycling pioneer Eastman.
INEOS’s Investments Into Revolutionary Technology
INEOS Olefins & Polymers Europe makes multi-million Euro investment in state-of-the-art multilayer, blown line technology supplied by Hosokawa Alpine. The goal is to develop, design, and produce new, recyclable flexible packaging films in partnership with converters, brands, and retailers in order to prevent approximately one million tons of waste per year from being sent to landfill or incineration.
LyondellBasell joins NEXTLOOPP initiative
LyondellBasell, one of the largest plastic and chemical companies in the world, has recently joined NEXTLOOPP initiative. This initiative aims to create circular food-grade recycled polypropylene (FGrPP) from post-consumer packaging. It was launched in October 2020, and for now, unites around 40 major industry players.
